The town of Orangeville and the surrounding Hills of Headwaters tourism region offer a wide variety of things to see and do before or after your train tour. For regional tourism information, visit the Orangeville Tourism or Hills of Headwaters Tourism web sites.
The tour train operates over the tracks of the Orangeville Brampton Railway, and shares the rail line with freight trains and as such adheres to a strict schedule. Passengers should consult a road map or online map service for precise driving directions from their location. All tours depart from Orangeville unless otherwise indicated on a tour description.
Tours depart from the railway yard at 49 Townline Road in Orangeville. The Orangeville station building opens for passenger check-in beginning 30 minutes prior to the scheduled boarding time. From Highway 10, take Highway 9 (Broadway) west to the first traffic light (Town Line Road) and turn left. Follow the road around the curve and up the hill about 1 km and you'll see the railway tracks. Turn left into the station parking lot just before crossing the tracks. Parking is in the paved area and overflow gravel area south of the station.
